We go hunting for PUKEKO

We made colourful binoculars to help us find Pukeko.

Mrs. Piesse helped us look for Pukeko. Pat also helped us look for Pukeko.

We looked around Peria School.

We thought this might be a  Pukeko nest.

We went through the fence onto the farm

 We used our binoculars.

There were three Pukeko down the hill!

Pukeko are black and blue and red

We found an old tractor. It is really, really old.  Chanell told Hale that her grandad thinks it was used for cutting grass.
On our way back to the classroom we found an old piece of machinery.

We will have to ask a farmer like Ray Olsen what it was used for.
