Term 4 2009


Ivy
We were cutting out masks and I like Sita. I picked a purple stick for my mask to hold it up in front of my face.
Mrs Noakes put buckets with water in them for us to water the plants. I watered the grape plant because I like grapes.
 

Chanell.
I choose Sita because I liked her face and she is a princess. I think I did a pretty good job of colouring it in.
I was watering my plant so it doesn’t die. I help Poppa water in the garden at home
 



Che
My Devali mask is purple and red and is of The Monkey King – Hanuman.
we watered my peanut plant seeds. There are 6 or 7 seeds around the stick with my name.

Hale
The monkey King helped Rama in the story. I wanted to cut out between the eye holes, it would be cool. It was fun colouring it in.
Che and I were watering the garden so our plants will grow.


Tamzin
My golden deer mask has got eye lashes and I like wearing it.
We water our plants carefully to make them grow faster, and I have a peanut plant.


Hori
I am the ten headed demon king Ravan, and all the Golden Deer are my friends in the story. I had trouble cutting the eyes out, but I think it looks good.
We were watering a peanut plant because it hasn’t been raining for a long time and the peanut plant hasn’t got enough water.


Laura
We got scissors and made eyes and my mask is called Sita. Sita is a princess in an Indian story.
I am watering my peanut plant because it hasn’t rained for a long time. We have some gardens at home too that mostly my Dad looks after.

 

Nina
I picked the Golden Deer mask because of the antlers and because I thought it was easy to cut out. It is a story from India.
We are watering the peanut plant so it wont die. My Nana gave the plants to Te Puna for their garden.

Alan
My mask is Raven who is a bad king who tried to get the prince and the princess and put her in the secret place of his.
I’m watering the gasrden so the plants will grow. I have a cool t-shirt in the garden.

Shakyra
My mask
 is Rama who got to be king at the end of the story.
I am watering my peanut plant because it was dry and it                                                                                  needed some water. I love peanuts, they are delicious.
 

   


Quintin
My mask is the King and I cutout my King mask.
I was watering my peanut plant in the garden by pouring water out of the jug.

Mar
I used coloured pencils for my mask, there were no more Golden Deer so I chose this one. I like yellow and blue.
We got water out of the buckets and poured it on the plants.



Anaya
It was fun colouring in the Monkey King because we could use any colours.
I was watering my plants because it was sunny and they did not get rain to grow.
 

Quintin
My mask is the King and I cutout my King mask.
I was watering my peanut plant in the garden by pouring water out of the jug.
 

 
 

Cory
I didn’t make a Dewali mask because I was away.
The peanut plant didn’t get rain today, so we had to water them carefully. See my new t shirt with the motorbike on the front?too.




Brandon
My mask is for Devali – a story where the queen followed the golden deer.
We watered the plants so they grow. I have Four arms on my pants.
