Thank you so much to all those attended our 150th Jubilee.
It was a wonderful event, enjoyed by all.
It was beautiful to see old friends reunite, hear stories from the past
and share heartfelt stories about our precious Peria School.
We wish to thank all those that helped make the day reality.
A huge thank you to Claire Olsen, Anne Farry and Jan Harwood whom without their perseverance and hard work this event would never have
happened and we wouldn’t have the Jubilee book which was a labour of love for that awesome trio. We will share some of the photos, stories and items from the time capsule as we get around to it. For now, we all are having a much deserved rest.
Take care whānau,
Whaea Ari.

Welcome to Peria School

Kia ora!
Thank you all for taking the time to look through our new Peria School website. It is still a work in progress but we are happy to share what we have so far with you as we build it up to be something that will help share students learning, inform and hopefully entertain.
Here at Peria School we are looking forward to another great year. We are a smaller school, with 3 composite classrooms. The numbers in each class are no more than 20 students, which means that all students have equal and ample access to learning, extra support and our school has phenomenal resources.
We have 3 wonderful teachers with various teaching expertise and passions which is great because students are exposed to a wide range of learning. We aim to ensure that our students are learning focused, and are supported and nurtured to develop both academically and holistically.
We have recently undertaken huge work in terms of our Strategic Goals for the next 3 years and we are really excited about what this means for our School, for our Staff and Students. You can see our Strategic Plan on a page at the bottom of this page with our Strategic Goals and Initiatives, what we hope to achieve and what success will look like when we do achieve these Goals.
We are in a beautiful spot, with access to bush, farms, nature, beaches and streams and we aim to ensure that our students make the most of learning through our rich and diverse environment. We have high expectations of our students and know that all our students have unlimited potential to succeed. We aim to bring learning to life for students and ensure that a sustainable lens is put over all we do to ensure that students understand their impact not only in school but also in the world.
Myself, and all of the staff, are always more than happy to meet with you to discuss, celebrate and share the needs and achievements of your children so please don’t ever hesitate to approach any of us.
